Step into a 600-year-old cellar and discover the rich flavors of Austrian wines. This private wine masterclass offers a rare chance to taste and learn directly from a seasoned wine judge and a local wine grower. It’s not just about sipping wine — it’s about understanding what makes each variety unique and how to identify them like a true professional.
Your host, Darrel Joseph, brings over 30 years of experience as an international wine judge, journalist, and lecturer. He’s judged at top wine competitions and contributed to major wine publications. Alongside him, Chris Sciacca, a former tech executive turned organic winery owner, shares insights into viticulture and the journey from grape to glass.
During this 1.5-hour experience, you'll explore Austria’s key wine regions, learn about local grape varieties, and taste wines from both historic family wineries and innovative boutique producers. The session is designed to boost your wine knowledge and sharpen your tasting skills, all in an intimate setting.
